Gmail is a free-for-all service developed by Google, and its intuitive and efficient interface has proved wildly popular with both businesses and the general public.

Getting up an account is straight forward.

To open Gmail, you can log-in from a computer, or add your account to the Gmail app “Android or Apple” on your phone or tablet.
Simply search for www.gmail.com on your computer, and select Create Account.
Then enter your Google Account email or phone number and password.
You will then proceed to another screen where you will be ask to provide additional information, including your date of birth, full name, password, and chosen email address.
Next, you will have to confirm Googleâs terms of service have been read with a click of the mouse.
The next step is a section dedicate to creating recovery settings in the eventuality your username or password are ever forgotten.
Simply answer a few questions only you know the answer to, such as “what is the name of your first pet?â
These exist so that Google can let you back into your account knowing that it is actually you.
Doing this is also easy â just click on your initials in the right-hand of the screen, and an option to sign out will pop up which you click.
