Previous academic qualifications

In other words, each course has a basic level of academic qualification to be able to study it. Therefore, the German school will need to see any evidence or proof of your previous academic level. Also, the standard of your education will be verified to match the standard or equivalent obtainable in Germany.

In that case, you will have to provide the following;

  • First school leaving certificate (Junior or Elementary school certificate)
  • Secondary school certificate and
  • HND or Bachelors’s degree Certificate ( for Masters’s degree program)

Transcript of grades

The school of your choice will request you to bring proof of your grades in your previous school. Your transcript is like a marker for your academic strength and performance. Every school wants to identify with people with a good academic footprint.

Therefore, your CGPA will improve your chances of getting admission. Many people are applying at the same time, the school will have to choose the best based on grades and other criteria. Hence, your transcript should speak well of your academic prowess.

 2-3 Recommendation letters

So many schools will require recommendation letters from you, especially from your lecturers or someone who knows you well. You should get your recommendation letters from different sources such as your school as well as your employer from your workplace.

The schools sometimes have to tell your referees what to point out in your recommendation letter. Also, your recommendation letters should have a letterhead and be signed. So, credible recommendation letters offer you a better chance of getting them. admission.

Motivation letter

A motivation letter is just a way to market yourself before the school. You will have to state your skills, your passion, and your interest to study in the particular school. In your motivation letter, you will have to make your goals clear.

Language proficiency test

Lectures in German schools are either taught in the German language or English.  Each school has a minimum requirement of the result from the proficiency test.
