American Rapper Nelly Accused And Arrested Of Rape. as his lawyer branding the allegation ‘completely fabricated’ A 42-year-old woman has accused Nelly of raping her on his tour bus in Washington early on Saturday morning.


Nelly who’s on tour with Florida Georgia Line there,and was set to perform in Ridge-field, WA on Saturday night.

According to TMZ the alleged attack took place at about 3.45AM, with Nelly whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr specifically identified by the victim.

At 7AM Nelly was charged of second degree rape and was then taken into custody.

The Auburn police spokesman Commander Steve Stocker confirmed that officers arrested the Rapper early Saturday morning in his tour bus at Walmart, and he will have an appearance before a judge ‘at some point’.

Nelly’s lawyer afterward claimed he was ‘the victim’ of a totally fabricated allegation.

‘Our initial investigation, clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness,’ the lawyer said.
‘I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges.

He added; Nelly is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation,’ he added.

In April 2015 Nelly was also arrested after a stash of drugs and weapons was found on his tour bus.
The incident unfolded when Tennessee Highway Patrol pulled the bus over because it failed to display a U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker.
But upon searching the vehicle, officers found methamphetamines, marijuana and handguns.
According to the police report, the trooper had smelled marijuana when they reached Nelly’s bus, giving them probable cause to search the tour bus

In the sleeper area on the bus they found five rocks that tested positive for meth, as well as a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

While at that time WRCB TV in Chattanooga reported that the police had found 100 small Ziploc bags, often used for the sales of narcotics, in the bus along with three high powered handguns.

A gold plated 50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber Tarus pistol and a 500 magnum Smith and Wesson were confiscated from the vehicle.
The St. Louis native was booked on felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Grammy-award winner remains one of the biggest selling rap artists in the US, shifting more than 22million albums.

His 2000, 2002 and 2004 albums Country Grammar, Nellyville and Suit all hit number one on the Billboard charts.

He also had four number one singles with Hot In Herre, Shake Ya Tailfeather, Grillz, and his 2002 smash hit featuring Kelly Rowland, Dilemma.
